They say writing is the window to one’s soul, but for Albert, multiple doors of opportunities have opened. Along with his expertise and competence, no wonder why he made it on top. From the high school boy who had been forced to send an entry for a National Essay Contest, he has now built a name in the field of journalism.
Before his new role, he was the Strategist for FH Media Production. Not only that, he served as the Editor-in-Chief for FOLIUM Multimedia Production. He also worked with Air Traveller, a counterpart of Flyhigh Manila for a year. Before he rises to glory, Albert was given the chance to chair the Board of Altitude Promotions from 2012 to 2013 and led the Board of Flyhigh Manila from 2013 until it was taken over by FH Media Production.
Apart from this, Dr. Albert is a multi-awarded writer and a leader. He has been an Awardee for Club Journalism Category, Pro Patria Journalism Awards 2021 by the Rotary Club of Manila; He also got the award for the Most Outstanding District Officer as Senior Deputy Governor for District Publications, Governor’s Monthly Letter Editor-in-Chief, Rotary District 3810 in 2020;
In addition, he too garnered the award for Governor’s Distinguished Service Award as Senior Deputy Governor for District Publications
A born writer and awardee, Dr. Albert also bagged another award as Outstanding JCI Senator in the Philippines in the Field of Journalism, JCI Senate Philippines on November 22, 2020; He has also been awarded the Outstanding Service Award as the Managing Editor in the Governor’s Monthly Letter of Rotary District 3810 in 2018.
During the interview, Dr. Albert can’t help but reminisce how his high school life helped him discover his knack for writing. Now, he gets to rub elbows with the industry’s finest and find life lessons from their lives across the sky to get to know the life of aviation personnel. For Dr. Adlay, dabbling with aviation has allowed him to fly high with ideas that brought the intricacies of aviation closer to people.
Aside from writing, he also works as a Project Manager in a conglomerate. For him, this fills his everyday life. He gets to apply novel solutions to every query.
